The Sun Prairie Area Community Band kicks off their summer concert series on Tuesday, July 17 at 6 PM at Wetmore Park. The program includes a wide variety of musical styles from traditional folk music to classical pieces, some show tunes, and even a few jazz standards. As a special treat for youngsters, the band is performing “The Teddy Bears Picnic” a familiar melody composed by John Bratton, during which band members will lead kids and their teddy bears in a parade around the park.
